Aided by inspiration from William Shakespeare, and never one to sew a straight line, London-based textile artist Alicia Merrett takes us on a wonderful demonstration of her wavy log cabin structural elements which have become a signature of her work. A featured artist and instructor at the Festival of Quilts in England, Alicia's work is available from her website and in galleries around the UK.

thank you very much. This is what I will do in my next quilt, (my 29th)
I have been wanting to break away from "perfection" since I first saw the Gee's Bend quilts, but unable to do it. This should be the way.
I have done 3 quilts on line.
