@Mojoret Definitely agree. I do love the original but these guys did such an amazing job :)

it sounds like the beegees did a pink floyd song in the world of tron

I love Floyd, and I love this version.
All this controversy reminds me of the way people were bitching about Electric Six's cover of Radio Ga Ga.
-
It's a shame I can only dislike this once

I like the scissor sisters....but I really don't wan't too live on this planet any more :(
-
its there style, and it is brilliant, you can always hit the back button.

I like covers like when metallica cover motorhead an vice versa, but this cover ruins such a brilliant song

@DixieRebel772 You realise Pink Floyd have worked with techno before? I'll point you into the direction of On the Run!

@Izybellaz I read the comment that said they all liked it. I think the cover is complete crap though. Pink Floyd deserves a lot more than to be put into techno. They were a psychedelic rock band, and their songs are better put into rock in my opinion. And give me the sources that say all the members of Pink Floyd liked the song.

@DixieRebel772 Pink Floyd said they liked this version. Check your facts before you start blurting out things
First of all, this is the most successful Pink Floyd cover, ever.
David Gilmour, Nick Mason, and Roger Waters, congratulated Scissor Sisters for this cover, stating that they loved the song.
So it's one thing not to like the cover, and a completely different thing to talk bullshit about things you don't know.
Oh! @beccacullen96, this is how music evolves, so I prefer listening to a million crap covers of Pink Floyd, than having Pink Floyd alone to listen.

As a Floyd fan who loves the original, I love this version. They made it their own.
