  • How am I suppose to exercise when my heart rate is already at 160, my pulse is racing when I'm not even moving, can't eat, vomiting, having seizures and convulsions, muscle spams, electric shocks in my brain and through my body, blur vision, abdominal pain, psychosis, paranoia, crying spells and cold sweats? oh yeah all of these symptoms really makes me want to hop on a treadmill!

IF YOU HAVEN'T EXPERIENCE THESE WITHDRAWALS YOURSELF, THEN YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!!!!

  • I'm a medical student, and I can assure everyone to ignore this cliche information he's dispensing. For instance, everyone loves to say "exercise, exercise, exercise." What these doctors need is a dose of REALISM. Exercise- are you kidding me? Simple carbs, really? I was actually hoping for authentic information, but this is just "information" regurgitated from others who only think they know what they're talking about. Let's talk about REALISM.

  • why didnt he say the one word that we all know will get us slowly off the drug and also, not make the withdrawl so terrible, all addicts should know cold turkey is suicide especially benzo's. i was on 3 8mg subutex, and 20mg of xanax, and the only way is to slowly, now here comes that one word i was reffering to, "TAPPER" slowly minimize your dose.so the withdrawl isnt insaine. i am now on 4mg of subutex and i usually take in a 24 hour period 5-7 mg of xanax now instead of 20mg. tappering.

  • @danaroxy19822040 Damn straight. I don't if this lady talking is on the same page...I think it's an exercise program.

  • is he talking about a diet for working out or xanax withdrawal?? and he calls himself an addiction expert. wow!

  • This guy has no clueas to how horrible the withdrawal from this evil medication is.

  • i was given xanax to get off of alcohol- not sure why.. a longer acting benzo like valium would have been more appropriate. but luckily i have only been on it for 3 weeks. i tried just not taking it, but had two major unbearable w/d symptoms: insomnia/nightmares and fatigue. for those of you who have been on it for years, im sorry for you. benzos are only a 1-2 week max treatment drug really. damn pharmaceutical companies.

  • @MrSpemat You have obviously not experienced post-xanax-withdrawal, ore You would already know just how insignificant everything besides just surviving the mental and physical torture of withdrawal is. His "good quality proteine intake" is not even priority number 100000000 on my list.

  • @KingCluelessDK yeah, good point because healthy eating habits and exercise have NO BEARING whatsoever on one's overall wellness...

  • @danaroxy19822040 very true. withdrawal from xanax is horrible. this guy is naive.
