You can use any kind of ruler so long as it has the 45 and 60 degree angle marks on it. I used my rotary cutting rulers for this purpose as they have the correct angles already marked on them and it is easy to align those angle lines with the blades on the die.

I did watch it I' m new at all of this so please help me to understand where do I start

what kind of ruler do I USE on the dies I like all your videos but I' m still on the side line because I'm not understanding the how to mark them.
