I think a lot of women don't feel comfortable wearing dresses. I never did really. My issue with super butch women/stone butches is that it's almost like they embrace the traditional masculine roles/look/behaviors that repel me from men. I reject the claim that to be "tough" or "strong" one must wear masculine clothing. Some of the strongest (physically AND emotionally) people I know wear dresses.
