Doberman in the sunset! Satan & Kiki

This video was taken in April 2010 a few days after we found out Satan has bone cancer. We were told the wouldn't make it past august!!! We had accepted defeat and took him out to one of his favorite places (the beach). But since his diagnosis our beautiful Doberman is still alive and frolicking and has many more sunsets to see!!! Can't wait for the summer so he can hit the beach again!!! And of course the starring chihuahua in this vid is my darling Kiki :) i shot this vid with my blackberry bold and edited it a year later with my iPhone 4 :) using Splice... which is FREE!

What a sad but appropriate music score - as he swims into the sunset - "I just want to be here...!" As he swims back, he looks like the Loch Ness Monster approaching. The pointer is too funny. And, he's still here! The last still of him rocking to shore makes him look like he's flying! Dogs live so perfectly and completely in the moment.

@bladeimm this video captures his life and his essence PERFECTLY... i just HAD to put it to this song "i just want to be here beside you" describes Satan's and my b/f's relationship to the T! they love each other SO much and when they're separation with be a real tragedy :(

He is such a great dog. Love his attitude and spirit. Give him a big fat kiss on my behalf. I hope he has a joyous life, how ever long it may be.

@jamesgambino he's really a great dog! we turned down the chemo and amp options and just decided it would be best for him to live as long as he can as a normal dog and when we see signs of suffering we'll put him down
