Okay, this one is a cake, but an unexpected ingredient, Jello!

Orange Cake

1 pkg. yellow cake mix (or white or French vanilla)
1 pkg. orange Jello
3/4 c. apricot nectar (or orange juice)
2/3 c. vegetable oil

Mix and beat 3 minutes. Add: 2 tsp. orange extract
4 beaten eggs

Mix well. Pour in angel food pan, greased and floured. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. When done, punch holes in cake with ice pick and pour icing over cake. Cool.

ICING
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
3 tbsp. orange juice ( I used about 2.5 tbsp of milk and 1 tsp orange extract instead)

  • This is just delightful! I made it three times since finding your recipe. Once I grated a bit of fresh orange rind and added walnuts. It is just delicious. Thank you.

  • I love orange cake...I will definitely try this recipe for Christmas and let you know how it turned out. I don't have a bundt cake pan...I'll use a regular circular pan instead.

    Merry Christmas :)

  • @laurasuits1 You can do it with Kool Aid mix ((orange)) (:

  • @CasreCupcakes I really like how your cake turned out thanks for letting me know about your video

  • @CasreCupcakes Your cake is a very easy one!
