Again I agree with you, if the accident didn't take place there wouldn't be a Ben and Meg, plus let's not forget that Maria was the one who placed love in Ben's heart in the first place, why it was so hard for Meg to gain a place there. Therefore, Maria would be the only woman who could claim Ben from Meg, because she was the reason why his heart was closed in the first place... Her assumped death was just too painful for Ben.

Meg is completely useless, except for milking a cow maybe XD. Anyway, there isn't cow in Sunset Beach, so she can go back to her sticks' village(with her silly sister of course).

@Kero75000 Meg was just there to represent the housewife audience who wanted to live through her by watching the show and be 'swept off their feet by a handsome british brooding stranger' In reality, someone as deep and complex as Bren belonged with an artist like Maria and that is why everyone raved about their connection! @gurlih yes because meg the secretary was so interesting *rolls eyes*! ha you must be joking - compared to the vivaious artist maria who was best friends with annie (THE BEST CHARACTER ON SB!)and who made ben smile and have fun. yeah meg was more interesting with her constant whining and self obsessed/ben obsessed life puh-lease!
