the movies are like almost all other overstated martial arts movies, just because all the people expected such movies, because otherwise its boring for them. and its far away from what really happened. if bruce lee was still alive and if he wouldve been the director of the ip man movies, it definitely wouldve become a way more authentic movie than the actual movie.
