  • Dublin is a county in ireland. one of 32

  • What state is Dublin in?

    OR are you talking Ireland?

  • I heard and met both of these guys. Not together though. They are both giants, and thoroughly nice guys (Well I suppose where Tal is concerned, was is the tense.. sadly. RIP Tal.) They had time for you in the breaks and didn't just vanish backstage to snort or gargle a brew! Memorable players and it's sad that a guy like Louis can be ignored while he played. Needed a good keyboard to jump in and pump up the volume! Thanks for this.

  • it also seems the snare drum was opened and Louis got up to shut it because it was obviously resonating - funny!!

  • «hear the seaside in Tals playing?»

Very interesting suggestion - i'll remember that - and Tal, always - what a wonderful human being he must have been.

  • Thanks very much for having done just that!

  • hey amazing..but i was in a restaurant tonite in dublin and louis was playin'in the corner [with colm o'sullivan on flute].nite music..nobody was takin' any notice..thought it was kind of sad..

  • Since I was the guy who shot this video at the Queens Hall, Edinburgh on 18 November 1988 I can give the facts. I sponsored this concert to bring Tal and Louis together onstage. This was their very first meeting. They played for almost two hours without rehearsing anything. Gordon Wright.

  • aahhh Tal

    we will always love you

can anyone hear the seaside in Tals playing?

    I always do

I will always miss Tal,he was so much more than a jazz guitarist

  • Thank you so much for this clip. I can't wait to see the other one's.
