this is an old recording by Buddy Holly singing- Have You Ever Been Lonely 1957/58 (it's a short version)taken from the LP Giant which was released in 1969.all the song's on this LP would not have been possible but to the helping hand from a lot of people,musician's & record company.

  • I suggest a listen to the true non overdubbed original recording. A lot of the overdubs Norman Petty did in the 1960's are somewhat heavy handed and tend to obscure the original home/garage recordings. It's widely assumed this was recorded by Buddy to please his mom, Ella, who really liked the song. Cheers
