is this on a free program (freeware) that I can run to test HD Monitors? a program you can start and stop bars with or with out tone. that would be a great little program. it could also have many other test patterns HD and SD for Monitor/TVs Hooked up to a Computer. IMHO

You could use the wikipedia image and use a tone generator for a 1kHz Sine wave.
