Voice of Destruction (1996) - Religion

South African metal.
From the 1996 V.O.D. album 'Bloedrivier'.
We were living in London at the time and we just finished recording 'Bloedrivier' at the legendary Academy Studios in Yorkshire. Paul Blom (drums)was back in South Africa and Diccon Harper (bass)was not around for some reason.
The house next door burned down one night, so the next morning myself (vocals), Greg McEwan (guitars)and David van Blerk (our live engineer)used the opportunity to record the 'Religion' video on an already 'constructed', very fitting set. We didn't have to clean afterward and most importantly, we didn't have to PAY for it!

The entire video was filmed in sequence. I first laid down the audio track on the videotape, connected a small speaker to the camera so we could hear the audio each time the camera's record-button was pressed. Is that Hi-tech or what!!!
The staircase and floorboards were still steaming after we got our last shot.
What a Fkn Main day.
