I wish other places would view this. The important thing to see here, is that BCR is able to have a very sucessful annual benefit WITHOUT baby tiger petting, lion cub holding, walking a cheetah across the stage etc... So things CAN be done with respect to animals and their welfare, send the right message about exotics, and it can benefit both the animals under their care as well as the conservation programs they are invloved in.

Here in Dayton, OH, we have to settle for a Little Cat Rescue.
We're having a Spay-ghetti and No Balls Dinner and Auction to raise money for our low cost spay/neuter program. Wish us luck!

Damn I wanted to go so bad, I live in Orlando but I still couldn't find the time to go there, Oh well, I'm very happy that everything was successful, I hope you guys received a lot of much needed money to support the cats and the sanctuary, I promise I'll go next year. : )
