Huge outdoor ice rink

James shows off our huge outdoor ice rink. We are set up for anything with a rubber mat entrance, benches, a fire pit and a storage trailer for all our stuff. Watch James show off some of his fancy stick handling. He is pretty good for seven years old. I can't wait to show him this when he is older.

how cold does it have to be so that the ice doesnt melt?

@hazuninga - It generally has to stay below freezing but you as long as the ice is frozen through you can skate on it even when it is in the low 40's. Last year was great but this year we only got three days of use because of a mild winter.

We have pond hockey goals. 2x6 wood boxes with 6" x 1.5" openings in the two front corners.
