@PatsyNalls You really don't know the situation at all, Jaycee Duggard said when she was still kidnapped "why can't my thoughts be my own, why can't I just leave", it was the same with Shawn, imagine being tied to a couch for over 3 months sexually and mentally abused then getting strangled almost to death, , if you watch the mall security footage of shawn with devlin you will see a scared young man, i have been in shawns shoes and yes you do what you can to stay alive

@lollypop2143 i agree 100%. imagine being 11 years old & thinking about him coming after you and killing you & your family. when your at that age you don't know enough to know what to do & kids are easily manipulated its disgusting what this man did to him. i actually think Shawn made a good decision by not telling everyone what happened during his time there because honestly i would never want him to think about that again he doesn't deserve it. i really want to kno how hes doing

People grab these children and if they don't kill them, they scar them for life. I saw interviews about Shawn I hope he recieves counseling and is really going to make a life for himself. Only he knows the demons and confusement he has to face. God bless you Shawn and Ben.

i dont kno if its jus me but if i wuz kidnapped and sexually assualted i wud want to die! but id b scared at how the kidnapper wud do it! wud he jus mak it quick nd shoot me, hang me, or wud he make it painful, drown me, suffacate me, mutilate my body, strangle me, break my bones, beat me till i left a conscious state then bury me underground! i wudnt kno what he'd do and obviously the kids didnt kno either! to them their best intentions wer jus to stay alive so they did what they wer told!

@NaaBegNoFriend HORN beck ... to beck is to call. horn ... well, we know what we know. it is very true that words and names have immense power. i do not know why "horn" called to shawn ... or why HORN calls to any of us. the name "horn beck" is a sign and it was indeed the "devil's call" who was dwelling in devlin.

I can't believe the kidnapping was 4 years ago and he was only kidnapped for four years.. It seems so much longer. Kind scary knowing I've driven past where he was being held at, and one of my friends sisters, friend dated Shawn.
