I recorded this song back in the late 80's down in Peru, South America. Francis was on a trip with some other famous Belgium Spanish guitarplayers (or is it Spanish-guitar players from Belgium?) I was there to get myself a nice hat.
Somewhere in the mountains of black Peru we did met. Francis looked at me...and i looked back. It was like cinnamon looking at an apple.
Then he took his guitar and he played...and he played!! José took his bongo's, Salvatore the bass and Juan did some guitar as well. Bart Willems (a native) picked the slide. I took my Tascam 24-multitrackrecorder out of my backpack and placed some mic's.
It became one of the rarest recordings of Francis Goya. Only i got the mastertape. At the end of the day Francis stopped playing en left....i never saw him again.
