Hola!
My name is Alex Beasley and this is my video as to why exactly i'm the man for the job, nawmean?

Firstly, I apologise for the rubbish quality of the video in general... I bought a video camera specifically to make this video and because I only recently found out about this amazing opportunity I was a bit pressed for time to brainstorm, script, shoot, edit & submit it within the required timeline and didn't get a chance to actually determine the quality of the camera, so unfortunately you'll have to make do with 720, it's as high as the camera would shoot. Nuts to high def anyways I say, it won't last, VHS will make a comeback. Like Super Nintendo, parachute pants and 8-track players. I heart parachute pants.

Like the video says, the reasons behind why i'm perfect for this job are numerous. Not only do I have extensive real-world offline and especially online marketing experience, which a uni degree just can't give you, and have personally been involved with every aspect of marketing and managing a real company's consumer brand awareness and day-to-day presence in the marketplace, I have also had several years experience designing sunglasses and eyewear for Sydney-based eyewear designer Graz Mulcahy, thus I am well aware of every aspect of how sunglasses are designed & manufactured, which I believe will be highly benefical to my cause due to sunglasses and optics being a major element in the Oakley mix. I'm also studying how to create bespoke footwear (and i've made better ones than in the video, trust me haha).

I've also held gigs as a social photographer at major music festivals such as Good Vibrations, the Big Day Out, Field Day and Parklife to name a few, and love the social element of meeting hundreds of new people in a day and taking their photo, whilst also letting them know the website they can find their photos on.

I'm a pretty fun guy, and i'm always down to go wild and do something different. I constantly endevour to think outside the box because I can't stand thinking i'm not being original and standing on my own two feet, and I hope this comes across in my video.

I love to ride BMX and have been on a bike for as long as I can remember and have the scars to prove it (brakes are overrated anyways) and was only joking about the party in the St. Kilda crib... maybe. And whenever I want something, I go for broke until I can't chase it anymore, and this job is amazing and would suit my personality and approach perfectly, and I won't be giving up any time soon!
