Visit my website at www.lot2learn.com for midi files, backing tracks and solo transcriptions.

Here is a short demo of the Roland FP-4. The sound is really very nice but gets lost in the YouTube compressors. If you are interested in this keyboard you really need to demo it yourself. I purchased this not to use as a home unit (there are much better digital pianos for that) but rather to use as a gigging keyboard because of its light weight and weighted action.

First, I play some simple chording. The second piece uses one of the FP-4 built-in backing tracks. It has 2 variations and I switch to the 2nd variation towards the end. The last piece uses a strings/piano pad.

  • Please note that it does not blink as it seems in this video. Only the metronome button is blinking in real life.

    Best Regards

  • I want one of these so bad but they are soooo expensive.

  • @LiviuPavel 240p & 360p videos are for cell phones.

  • @LiviuPavel Yes but from what I understand, uncompressed audio requires large amount of space and therefore would take a while to stream. I would want high quality audio but not for all videos so they should make it optional, rather than outright 'forbidding' it.

  • @MasterThief1324 tip: when you upload a video at 480p or more, it automatically becomes available in all lower quality versions. The problem in your case is the audio, I don't care about the image, but the sound is crucial when presenting an piano don't you think?

  • @LiviuPavel No because I don't want to wait 1 hr for a 30 second video to load?

  • what's the point if you uploaded it in 240p, it should have been in at least 480p, for god sake, they should forbid 240 and 360p!

  • Smooth... smooth playing,

I'm in the market for my first real kb/digital piano was considering one of these or something less portable (dont really care if its portable or not) like a yamaha clavinova or arius any suggestions would be great cheers :)

  • Thankyou.
