Unfortunately celebrities preen for photographers only when it suits their purpose. When it doesn't, they hide their faces, engage in public prowls and haul photojournalists into court. Each needs the other, but it's a love-hate relationship. It does seem to go overboard at times, but this is what the majority of viewers want to see!

I've got to say i've seen TMZ, and yes much criticism you heap on it, for being paparazzi who simply make a living off stalking celebrities, but everyone's got make a crust. As long as they don't overstep the mark and become harassing stalkers who hide in dumpster and behind trees, i think it's fine. Harvey Levin has never really struck as a sleazy guy or someone who's an asshole, sorry people i know people want to hate on TMZ, but i personally have never had a problem with it.
