Those homologation specials were the fastest damn things on the roads. By modern standards they had tiny engines and thin tires but my god they could handle and break. Subaru was my first car and during winter it was the fastest thing on roads.

With all the respect I have to F1, GT1, GT3 races, and I have PLANTY of respect to them - Rally is indeed the real deal.

WRC has died in 2009 and 2010 and survive in this year with new cars 1.6 litres turbo DS3 WRC, Fiesta WRC and MINI WRC. This season it's amazing and come back old and gold years of World Rally Championship and few years and i'm waiting Rally Portugal return's to North, to Fafe, Viseu, Matosinhos, Arganil.

@cartuner9 mini is in again and subaru is developing a new sti that would meet wrc regs. no word if they are gonna be back but its a sign of hope at the least
