  • Yes, it was a fascinating audience layout. The audience was completely invisible from the stage area. People did move out front for Luke Doucet at least. Amelia's new album, Hunter Hunter, is out September 1st, which I'm really looking forward to.

  • Yes, she's playing all kinds of festival gigs this summer, then her first gigs in Europe in the fall. It's great to see her finally getting the attention she deserves. Wish I could get out to one of these festivals!

  • Amelia's great on her own, but Phil has such a deft touch that he adds richness to the whole deal whenever he's sitting in. He did a great job on the production of War Brides too.

  • i heard this on the radio when my alarm went off in the morning. its very good.

are you still not living in montreal?

  • Was there that night...the Starlight is set up so weird as people are seated to each side of the stage, but no one is in front of the stage. She made a great comment that went something like..."It's like being on Starsearch but only the judges are hiding"...very savvy. Became a lifelong fan of hers that night and Luke Doucet and the White Falcon were just awesome...music's hidden gems 'fer sher'.

  • I volunteered at Stanfest this year in Canso NS, I did her first show with Vance Gilbert, Jimmy Flynn, Bruce Guthro and Evans & Doherty.. What a show, they were all awesome!

  • Saw Amelia at the Wpg Folk Festa couple of weeks ago. (Especially good in the workshop with Vance Gilbert!!)

She's the next, great female singer-songwriter from Atlantic Canada.

  • love the sound of Phil's guitar (and the song too!)
