If a person has developed a sexual orientation that involves children, and acts on those impulses and hurts a child either physically or mentally, then they need to be caught and punished, but also made to understand that hurting a child is ABUSE and can not be tolerated. The abuser needs serious training to understand why hurting an innocent child is wrong. Would He or She like to be HURT? Of course not.

Children must be protected from ANY abuse.

@4boySonic Raping a child is an entirely different matter. I would never force myself on a kid, or hurt anyone. When I was a kid 15/16, I used to go after guys that were around 25 and HOT. What’s wrong with that. Sexuality is not limited to older people, you know. I now have a boyfriend and totally love this guy. I just turned 18 and he is just 3 months behind me. We have been lovers for about a year and a half. I hope we spend our lives together.

Some young guys are attracted to slightly older men and go after them because they want to have sex with a man, not another boy. Just saying.

When I was 15, I used to find guys who were 23/25 very sexually attractive, and I would let them know it and tried to seduce them. Usually, they told me to come back when I was legal. Hahahaha.

Sometimes I made-out with them and I wouldn’t change a thing. I can be very persistent at times. It’s just sex after all, and I'm a person too with sexual needs.

@4boySonic You know, your comment seems reasonable. Most people do not act on their sexual attractions to children. Far more parents and close family members physically hit, or slug, or verbally and emotionally abuse children than do true pedophiles.

You do acknowledge the difference between child sexual abuse and being a Gay or Bisexual person in a consensual physical relationship, I hope.

@RyanLoveable Unfortunately, the physical harm you speak of is mostly metered out by parents and relatives, not pedophiles. A quick search of child-abuse statistics can easily verify this. In fact, research shows that pedophiles rarely exhibit aggressive tendencies (Okami & Goldberg, 1992).
