This series forms the basis of a "How-Not-To" Build DVD set.
There are times and kits in every modeler's life that, for any of many reasons, are put aside for a time. If you box the parts away properly, you'll have an excellent experience when the time comes to get back to it. If you don't take good steps when the kit goes away you can wind up with broken pieces, lost parts and much damage.
I drifted into the middle range. Let's take a look at what mediocre boxing yields after months away. You'll see scratches, gouges, wear, tear and lots of dust.
Well, it's a re-paint on the shell. I'm sure you realize that. Great amount of work inside with the electronics! The corrosion you see looks similar to what I find in my garage with high humidity. Apartment huh? When I was in an apartment my neighbors would complain when I painted on the 3rd floor balcony.
