I'm very excited to bring to you all YouTube's first glimpse at Cognition! What you see here is obviously not the full game. This was a demo specially prepared to draw some attention into the game and let people see just what Cognition is all about. And yes, that is Erica's voice actress signing the song at the end, called "The Taking". Her name is Raleigh Holmes--she's part of The Scarlet Furies, along with her dad Robert Holmes (also from Sierra fame, and the composer of this song, and Jane Jensen's husband).

They should release the demo. I played the Resonance demo, and it is what hooked me and got me to buy the game. Adventure games are perfect for this. Get you into the story then it ends so you gotta buy it. I greenlit, but really think releasing this demo would help them a lot.

Hi xabbott--one of the designers of TSL here :) Our first episode was pretty rough. We took the feedback from that episode (& later ones) into consideration and worked very hard at making improvements as we went along, both in TSL and as we developed Cognition. You can watch Toegoff's LPs of the later TSL episodes to see some of that, or try the episodes yourself if you'd like, they are still free.

Personally I think Episode 3 is our strongest, w/Episode 4 a very close second. :)
