The Ingredients:
2 cups sliced sour kimchi (kimchi that is a little older)
2 cups of flour
1 egg
1.5 cups of water
6 tbsp of liquid from kimchi jar
Canola Oil

Preparation:
1. Mix all the ingredients together well. Make the batter a little thick.

2. Heat canola oil in pan on medium/high heat. Pour small pancakes onto hot pan. When edges become golden brown, flip the pancakes to the other side. You can also press down on each pancake to help browning. Remove pancakes from pan once they are evenly cooked.

3. You can serve the pancakes as an appetizer or snack with a Korean alcoholic rice beverage. This recipe makes about 16 pancakes.
