This weekend the team revved up its overdrive in anticipation of the return of the Endeavour shuttle. We even sent an open letter to NASA, care of Dr. Michael Griffin, which will be included in the segment being prepared.

In the meantime I am posting a small clip from a video that may be featured on the West Coast Midnight Run's pages with the soon-to-be published segment of the same heading "The Virgin Space Station". Original content licensed from and copyrighted istockphoto/P. Podemanski

The published segment will include a much longer video in a large format.

In the meantime you may want to check out the excerpt we published at http://midnighttracks.net/twcmrsep06/page49 on Battlestar Galactica.

Needless of me to remind you folks, all content is copyrighted by the publisher and contributing artists.

  • wanna take it's virginity o.o

  • @MrFlyingscotsman1

I don't usually comment on commentators but hey you are welcome to do so. Can you get the European, Japanese and Indian Space Agency to foot the bill for the hotel where you will be taking it's virginity? NASA is sure to lead the pack in funding the effort. You take care of the European side since you are in the UK and we yanks will try our best with NASA.

  • Sonicfan7. You just don't have any idea what we're capable of. Nasa employees don't believe in god because they are critical thinkers.

  • lol... you are the FEW who have such a grim outlook... I see new potential in the human race every day. One day we will come to peace, unless nuclear war breaks out.

  • 2012... Not doomsday, but a new era in human history. It will be the year that we enter into a space age. Take that, doomsdayers. Why is society so bent on destruction and the end of times. Let's look forward for once, and say that we can do this... now... right here.

  • Will this thing give da wolrd 100TBPS internet speeds?? xD

  • @vrshowdown How? think critically about everything except the nonsense shoved into your head by your parents when it was still soft?

  • @Helge129 That is some complicated stuff

  • @firebirdcas: Actually, take a look at Alcubierre's theories about warp drives.

  • build it in space, piece by piece. kinda like they did with the ISS

  • @MrPoshlinahui

100 years ago we could only fly some miles.

Who thought we went into SPACE!

i think about 100 years we got ourselves a completed space network around earth.

We colonize Orbital. We colonize other plantes(only if there could be something like Wormholes or Negative energie otherwise we cant go faster than light.

Its just so cool, its a shame we wont be a part of the group that colonizes space.:(

  • Very far future. May be our children will visit one of that stations but not we thats for sure. over 100 or 200 years we may be will fly to other planets and stars out of Solar System. But today - human did not land on at least Mars.........And when he did - it is just 1st step into the space..on the other planet. Also on the mars human will need to work hard and much to make Mars available to life. And just then - may be we can fly out....Very far future. Too bad......
