We believe that Hadhrat Ahmad of Qadian (as) was the same Messiah who was to come as SUBORDINATE Prophet as per saying of our beloved Prophet (saw). Actually, there is NO controversy between us & other Muslims regarding Finality of Prophet Hood. Rather the actual controversy is regarding whether the Issa/Jesus once appeared among Israelite is to return or someone of his likeness was to come from the Ummah.

Ahmadi Muslims believe that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w) is the last law bearing prophet (Khatamun Nabiyyeen). We believe that Hadrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad a.s is a subordinate prophet to the Holy Prophet s.a.w, there is also a verse in the Holy Quran which proves this. The Promised Messiah who was foretold to come in the latter days is Hadrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad a.s. and, and being the Promised Messiah, you are also titles as a prophet of God
