Bike Ride on the Illinois Prairie Path_ July 31, 2010.wmv

The day started out with Rain, lighting and thunder. The weather report said it was going to clear up, so off to the bike path we went. The path was wet and that made it a little harder to ride and the mud was flying all over us. I was thinking what have I gotten myself into. This is how our ride went # 1. La Tanya's chain came off and I had to ride to catch Dan for help ( Lots of energy used) # 2. I forgot to put my glasses on after lunch and they went flying off my hat, we spent about 15 min. looking for them and just as we gave up La Tanya seen them in the street ( It was amazing a car or truck didn't run over then) # 3. La Tanya and I got Lost :) we took the wrong path, A nice man on the path got his map out and told us how to get back ( Dan was calling looking for us) #4. A little girl was riding all over the path and I was watching her and hit La Tanay's back wheel and I went flying into the bushes. We rode 52 miles. A little sore and bruised we had a great time. I can't wait until the next ride.
