Sad to say but this is no surprize to anyone. The state of Illinois is in bad shape because we have been sold to the highest bidder time and time again. Mr. Clenni and the Gov are a good start!

Hate to scare you, john, but the people of this state, only vote for dems. I would vote for a dead man, before dick. But, please remember, this is one of the mentors to obama. But, for a great laugh, read about Cook County Il. He backed Stroger. Then read about all the mis doings in the state, by people he backs.

I live in Illinois and I strongly back Steve Sauerberg in his bid to become Illinois's new Senator. Dick Durbin is a horrible Senator and does not reflect the common people of Illinois. And by the way, most of Illinois votes Republican, it's only Chicago that pushes the state Democrat.

I am from down state Illinois! I follow politics like some wish for the cubs! I have seen scandel after scandel from our "leaders". I hope McCain/Palin win because our counrty does not need a dose of crook county machine thug rule!

well looky looky here. Doug Feith, co-architect of the war in Iraq blaming Bremer, and Bremer saying he was follwing orders from the top to extend the occupation. Feith made remarks at American Enter. Institute...my my my. Tommy Franks says about Fieth, "Feith had achieved the reputation within the military of being "the dumbest [expletive] guy on the planet." Second to Bush of course.
