@TheCaferocker my point exactly, your story is false. I prefer my reliable Ford over some flimsy Toyota pickup that people think are made in America. They are engineered in japan and all the parts are sent here from there, and all the money goes back to the japs as well. Its not 1985 anymore, Toyotas lost their place as "reliable" years ago.

@TheCaferocker Powerstroke diesels are great trucks...they have too much horsepower and torque to pull a stock toyota out, if they try they will rip that little quarter inch stamped sheet metal c channel frame right out from under that tundra or tacoma.

@TheCaferocker Nice made up story there. Theres plenty of powerstrokes on the road, many of them the old 7.3 liter powerstrokes as well as the new 6.7 liter with over 800ftlbs of torque. Ive never heard of turbo issues on the powerstrokes. My dad bought a 99 tacoma TRD new and the first summer he had it the radiator went and the engine blew, the 4x4 never worked, he traded it in the next year for a Ranger 4x4 which is still running with over 300k miles today.

My F-350 4x4 blew the turbo with only 40 miles on it yeah you read that right I was driving the waste of money home from the dealer and the turbo fucking exploded, and the same thing happened to a friend of mine his had 3000 miles on it, all the while one of my Tacoma's has 350,000 and never had a problem... FORD SUCKS

@bay94080 I have nothing against older Toyotas. I would like an 80s model Toyota pickup 4x4 4 cylinder that I could use as a rock crawler just because they look better than the boxed off 80s model Rangers. The new Toyota pickups arent worth a damn though, the TRD 4x4 Tundra has the same roof height as my Ranger but has several inches less ground clearence as well as less horsepower and torque, plus they have stamped sheet metal frames and rear diffs.

@bay94080 I dont know which part of the country you live in but here in Charlotte you see 10 Rangers for every 1 Tacoma. My Ranger is a 4.0 with 176k miles and it has no issues whatsoever, it looks and runs new, and it doesnt complain when I hook a loaded trailor with some large UTVs, ATVs, and 4 dirtbikes in the bed(btw those 1500cc UTVs weigh well over 1000lbs). 3.0 Rangers were no good either, the only one worth a damn is the 4.0 and its bulletproof.

@TheCaferocker We will stick with our ford and chevys. Toyota pickups sound like fartcannon 85hp honda civics with exhausts and they perform like them too. The Ecoboost destroyed Dodge and GM in towing, horsepower, torque, and reliability, why didnt the Tundra compete in that test? because GM and Dodge destroyed it in towing and reliability. Its not 1980 anymore, Toyotas are built with shit parts now and have many recalls.
