I took my 2nd TOEFL exam last November 2010, I only got 24 in the speaking section and I got 23 only on my first test. I knew I did well, but I just don't know how they evaluated me. Can you give me some tips? I have a strategy already. However, I did have problems in the Independent speaking portion. Please help me!!!!!!!

I got 28/30 on writing and speaking.
From the penalization, it seems that I lost the marks for speaking on mispronuciations and mispelling/minor grammar mistakes for writing.
It's weird cause when I was studying, I was told to prioritize contents over everything else. So how is it that the TOEFL's butthead markers can deduct points for the most arbitrary bullshit ever?

Yes, and the lowest was 114 with speaking 29 and highest 119 with speaking 30. :)

hey thr speaking dosa.. this is pulak.. I've been watching ur video lecture for quite some time.. n i gave my Toefl
i got a score of 23 with a total of 92..
Though i could not use ur strategies to the fullest but i m happy with my score in the speaking section..
