@Fangtorn Minor correction, we did come from apes - and we still are apes. Though the apes we're decended from were different to modern apes, and no longer exist as such.

I wouldn't say religion creates *all* conflict. Even if there was no religion people would still find reasons to kill each other.

Science doesn't prove there isn't a god, it simply doesn't find any evidence to support the existence of a being.
