Second Life Geography 4 - Riding the Rails

We follow the Second Life Rail Road from its beginnings at the ferry between Purple and Cecropia, around the northern isle of the Northern Continent to its terminus in Bhaga. The railroad provides an extraordinary opportunity to explore the geography of this island.

Oh, also note that the main line is no longer interrupted by the wall, although for some weird reason there is a split where 2 ends of the line end parallel to each other, rather than being joined end to end.

SLRR is still being expanded and currently the main line covers more than 70 sims. The spur lines have been being laid this year (2009) with more still to come.

There arn't really any being rezzed by the Lindens anymore. They haven't seemed to bother with the SLRR for ages.
