GH II Tutorial - Custom Discs - Part 3 - Burning a Custom Disc

In Part 3 of my custom Guitar Hero II Tutorial I show you how to burn your custom Guitar Hero II files onto a DVD.

Things you need in Part 3:
1. Customized Guitar Hero II Game Disc.
2. Sony CD/DVD Generator.

5. A blank DVD-R (DVD-RW does not work. DVD+R sometimes works).

ok i fixed that and made the disk. I got it to play in my ps2, but when I go to one of the songs that I put on there, in the middle of it, it will just pause and then start again. and keep pausing. i know i made the disk right, so idk what is wrong

Yeah I and many others have had this same problem. It's usually caused by a bad chart. There's nothing you can do about it. If you desperately want the song, either check for a different chart or check my Feedback tutorial and make it yourself. That way it's guaranteed to work. Nothing much else you can do.

umm the cd/dvd gen turned my file into a ims file. will it still work?

You should have .iml and .ims. If you have no .iml try it again or double check your save location.

cd and dvd burners work

I'm sorry, I mean you do need a burner to burn onto the disc. Decrypter burns the files onto the disc.
