Great song from this group via 1969. I believe if released as a single, this would have been another hit for them, without the wierd intro..but anyway, Enjoy my memories!!

  • Snookiebutt: did you "make" that intro? It sounds like granular synthesis, or some time stretching. Although the segue from intro to song is a little awkward, they are both great. Thanks!

  • @bootray this intro was on the album cut...kind of weird isn't it?

  • "And I"ll be there"....this was the B side to the "Will you be staying after Sunday" 45

  • @bootray Definitely on the album. It immediately follows Will You be Staying after Sunday.

  • @chkjns I think I figured out what it is: the intro to this track it just the orchestration from their hit "Will You Be Staying After Sunday," with everything else (vocals, drums, etc) removed, and it's slowed down.

  • @chkjns Actually, the intro to this track it just the orchestration from their hit "Will You Be Staying After Sunday," with everything else (vocals, drums, etc) removed, and it's slowed down.

  • @chkjns Actually, the intro to this track it just the orchestration from their hit "Will You Be Staying After Sunday," with everything else (vocals, drums, etc) removed. It's the same chord progression of that song, anyway.

  • @Snookiebutt You are all right, the into is bizarre, utterly. They must have been short time to fill out the album & padded it with this 'filler' music which obv has nothing to do with the song at all. Kinda like finding all that water in your can of tuna . . .Never heard of an album producer 'cheating' like this before.

  • Hahhah! That aint no segue, it's a cold cut. Whoever their arranger was had probably written that nice orchestral slab for something else, but it didn't get used, so it was tacked on as the intro to this number. That's my guess. Another nice song from Peppermint Rainbow.

  • I bought their album in 1969. Ahhh memories. Thanks for sharing.
