I soon woke up the next morning realizing what happened to me last night. "I think I should call in sick." I told myself as I rubbed my eyes and ran my fingers through my hair. "Nah..." I told my self as I got out of my bed in my PINK pajamas. I soon went over to my window "How lovely, its raining." I said in a sarcastic way. I soon took a shower and did my make up afterwards. "Now what should I wear?" I said putting my hand on my hip. I soon started looking through my closet. "Oh Em Gee" I said pulling out the outfit. I soon put it on and put my hair into a messy bun. "Now thats what Im talking about." I said smiling and adding a hippy band. I soon grabbed my phone and my hand bag. "Where the heck are my car keys?!" I said slowly knowing that I am kind of running late. "Ha ha got cha!" I said grabbing my car keys off the sofa and running outside in my gladiator heels. I hopped in the car and played the radio and before I knew it I was there. "Just on time..." I said as I took my car keys out. I soon jogged into the building and took the escalader. "Joanna I love you shoes!" I heard a female voice slightly yell. I turned around and saw Charlotte my boss. "Thank you!" I said waving at her as she waved back. I soon got off and headed into my office and closed the door. "What a nice view." I said opening up my blinds and turning on my lights. "Why the hell is it so cold?" I said walking towards the thermostat. "No wonder..." I said turning up the heat slightly. "Much better." I said walking over toward my desk. Then there was a knock on my door. "Come in" I said putting a mint into my mouth. "Hey Joanna you have a bouquet of roses?" My assistant said with a confused face. "From who?" I said smiling and opening my laptop. "I have no clue and the delivery guy didnt know either." She said with a confused face. "Awkward.... but okay ill go get them in a few. Thanks!" I said smiling. "No problem Ms. Austin." She said as she closed my door." I wonder who sent me those." I said typing up my article about fashion in unknown states, but just knowing that someone sent my roses threw me off. "Ugh I cant take it anymore." I said clicking the save button and slightly closing my laptop. I soon walked out side my office doors and walked up towards the roses. "Thanks again." I said as I picked up the vase and walked back into my office. "A Note?" I said as I picked it up. I soon read it. [Dear Joanna, I am so sorry for what I have put you through. I didnt mean to hurt you the way that I did, I was going to tell you but I didnt know how to. I think we need to talk about this face-to-face. Kelsey means nothing to me; it was just a one time thing I promise. I didnt know that she was pregnant until a month ago. Please I want to work this out with you. I love you very deeply with all of my heart. I hope that we are still friends Sincerely Kyle.] I soon felt my heart drop and soon my mind filled with hate towards him. "How the hell could he do/ say that shit and still think that we could still be friends?" I said throwing the note on the floor. I soon lost control and threw the vase off my desk on to the floor. I felt as if I was lit dynamite and I just blew up. I soon heard a bang on the door and then Charlotte came in. "Oh My God!" She said looking at the roses on the floor. "Are you okay?!" She said walking towards me. "Do I look okay?" I said in a calm but pissed tone. "Whats wrong?" She said hugging me. "A lot of shit is wrong right now. I just need to relax; do you think I could take my article home and work on it?" I said with my red and bruised hand in the other hand. "I dont know Joanna." She said with a worried face. "I promise I will have it done by Monday!" I said in a trustworthy tone. "Fine... but it better be done and ready to present to me on Monday! Not Tuesday, Wednesday-" I soon cut her off. "Thank you so much Mrs. Garcia!" I said hugging her. "Now dont let me down, you are my favorite co editor!" She said smiling. "I promise I wont let you down!" I said smiling. "Now please clean this mess up and help your assistant file and make a new cover for our new magazine." She said walking out and closing the door. "Yes maim." I said smiling and beginning to clean up the shattered glass.
