Dancers working with singers working with storytellers working with musicians working with film-makers working with artists working with dancers and in a multitude of permutations working with each other and their audiences in new and inspirational places and times.
Not only bringing new interpretations to each artform, but challenging the artists and their arts in provocative ways: drawing narrative from dance, music from word, colour from tone, the new from the old and the old from the new.
This film, 'Must Come Down: a traditional cross-artform collaboration', is an exploration of those cross-artform experimental processes within the traditional arts.
Made by James McDonald.
Additional filming by Kat Macaulay, Ely Rosenblum and Jack Honeysett.
