Well, Vegeta is weaker than Goku, that's just how it is. There's no argument with that. Vegeta even admits that Goku is better. The power Vegeta uses in this battle isn't his own, just an obtainment from Babidi. In terms of this fight, Goku and Vegeta are basically equal, but Goku has more endurance, so that still makes him stronger, plus he recovers faster than Vegeta. Vegeta is too blinded by his pride, which only weakens him.

I used to watch this show with my older brother until it got canceled. My dad would call it the sweaty screaming punching show. Me an my brother still talk about dbz to this day. I'm super saiyan goku for holloween.

@xavierclark45 Actually, that's not the reason he didn't go SS3. He didn't go SS3 because it would have consumed his time on Earth, which he needed to keep due to training Goten and Trunks.

@8riLarA7 plus vegeta had the majin strength too haha ... just shows how strong goku really is

i remember when goku got out of the hyperbolic time chamber and didn't want to go back in (so he only had 1 year of training) and vegeta went in twice (2 years worth of training) and goku was still WAY stronger then him. I also learned that goku didn't want Gohan to train anymore he wanted him to enjoy the world and see the beauty in it so he would know what he was fighting for against cell.

Goku said he could of easily beat him in this fight cuz he had the ssj 3 level but didnt use it cuz it wudve hurt vegeta too much!!

@BrutalFatality13 in this fight they are not equal goku was fightin at full power cuz in this fight goku could of went ssj3 but chose not to because of his friendship wth vegeta
