Tribute To Our Son Lucas Andrew Russell - Fell Asleep Forever Aged 6 Days

Lucas Andrew Russell was born on Thursday 3rd September 2009 with Trisomy 18. Lucas was born weighing in at 5lb 1.5oz and just over 18 inches long, he had a full head of black hair and was the most beautiful, handsome and inspirational person me and my husband have ever had the priviledge to meet. Lucas touched more peoples lives in 6 short days and this was the boy they told me was incompatiable with life. Lucas had the heart and strength of a lion and his journey has changed my life completely. Lucas will always be my inspirational brave hearted son who now lives with the angels but the legacy of him will live on forever - for he touched so many people lives some he never even meet! Goodnight Lucas Mummy and Daddy will love you the rest of the their lives - see you some day over that rainbow xxxx

23 yearsago my beautiful son Christopher was born. He to had Edwards as well as other complications. I spent two wonderful days with him and held him whilst he died in my arms. There is never a day that goes by that i don't think of him.

Time does heal believe me.

I live in Alexandria now so if you need to talk to someone who has gone through this just let me know.

Thanks for getting in contact can't believe you have gone through the journey we are taking at this very moment. It is so hard unbearable at points then Lucas comes to the rescue and gets us through another day. It is hard at this point to believe people come out the other side of this pain.
