  • so basically syncopation is playing off the beat, no matter if it is before or after the beat it is syncopation, am i right or i got it all wrong?

  • What guitar is that?

  • @fortheneedofcoffee So glad it was of help! This is basically what I show my students when I first bring up the discussion of syncopation--including using a guitar! :-)

  • This was very good. This video is the fourth or fifth I've watched on syncopation and the first that has helped me.

  • This was a valuable lesson............... all the weird timings that go through my head in guitar and vocals...... wondering which is actually correct........ and seeing now..all are actually correct........in their own merits. Thanksssss !!

  • Thanks a lot for this lesson. You are great.. Please tune your guitar to piano as I cannot make out the tune if it is not. I am learning this style and Novice too. Any help is appreciated.
