you obviously don't frequent LS1 forums do you?
when we refer to cam only, we mean that's all that's modified to the internals of the engine.
of course its got supporting mods (full bolt ons)
you must have bad luck with your tranny, my 4L60E is still going strong with a 3600 stall and heads, cam, intake set up.

Hot Rod magazine staff bolted on a trick flow top end kit and a tranny cooler and ran high 11s...any time you touch the heads its not cam only but I still freaking love this car.

nice runs bro...used to have a 2001 WS6 six speed cam only i was runnin texas speed tourquer 2 cam...car made 416/412 off the bottle...stock 3:42 rear in the weak ass 10 bolt

@run353 Heads and cam on a stock 4l60E? It will probably go soon. Especially if you hook up one good time. Stock they are only rated at 325hp from the factory. MIne is holding up at 400hp i would do an overhaul kit before I do anything else
