Man, and I thought a movie of the Shifting Classroom would be so cool, but apparently it's the most stupid thing ever. Oh well, the Americans will get their hands on the manga and do it properly in one of their remakes.

the manga is scarier.  and better. think lord of the flies meet ido junji. but with kazuo umezu art.

in the manga there was no singing shown and almost all scenes were full of killing.

@chcknhawk I haven't seen him since graduation in 1993. I wish I could find another copy myself. I'm not having any success in remembering most of it. Maybe eBay or Amazon. I wish you the best! BTW marboclepto says he is the black kid from the movie. Maybe he has a copy somewhere. He posted on the Select scenes from The Drifting Classroom" clip. Best wishes!

@chcknhawk I was in a graphics class with a guy that was in that movie when he was about the same age (I think). He let us watch it. The whole thing? I don't remember. OMG, it was "interesting". Can't remember much from it except that it had Doug McClur and a monster that urinated clean water. Deus ex machina to the rescue?

You should review the American life action to. yes there is an American version who is just as bad its called the Drifting School with Drake Bell

WOW I only thought Americans could make bad movie adaptions based on comic books but the Japanese are just as guility.
