Lyrics:
Think of a number,
divide it by two,
something is nothing,
nothing is nothing.
Open a box,
tear off the lid,
then think of a number,
don't think of an answer.
Open your eyes,
think of a number,
don't get swept under,
a number's a number
A chance encounter you want to avoid,
the inevitable, so you do, oh yes you do the impossible
Now you ain't got a number,
you just want to rhumba,
and there ain't no way you're gonna go under
Go under

  • @muthahoho I wouldn't exactly say it was "pretty obvious" but I apologies just the same if that was the case. peace! :)

  • @Johnnywhamo

Wow, another clueless jackass. (See my original reply to "KrazedXxMaggot," you fucking dullard...)

  • @muthahoho Let's see, this came out in 1977 and Elastica in formed in 1992 so unless Elastica has some sort of time machine you and the other 8 thumbs up people are either ill-informed or not too bright..I'm guessing both.

  • @runnersdialzero333 Oh! And not even the exact progression, Elastica's varies at the end. Improves upon it, one might say.

Just sayin' just sayin' just sayin'.

  • I didn't know you could "steal" a two chord progression with a basically straight 4/4 beat. Pretty interesting. I think we should just end music, already.

  • this is from 1977 ¬¬... Elastica...1994... so get your conclusions

  • @doomdong for real? i searched for info about that when i first heard this song and didnt find anything..

  • I think there's too much intelligence here to the point that it's just turning into silliness. :D

  • @MrSpideyAG Actually, Elastica was sued. Out of court settlement.
