"All Things Bright & Beautiful", written by William Monk, is a traditional hymn loved by all generations. In this pastiche for Concert Band, Ian Macpherson's subtle metrical gymnastics give the hymn a new dimension while retaining its charm and melodic splendour. A plethora of odd time signatures and rhythmic nuances will certainly keep your band on its toes and capture your audience's attention with something a little different. There is something for everyone here in a work that is apt for concert or sacred settings. This is great fun to play and a delight to the ear!
