1200 ft. Water Fall Rappelling at Malshej Ghat

Starting from Shivaji Nagar ST Bus Stand between 18:30 hrs. To 19:00 hrs. Bus to Aale Phata, from Ale Phata another bus for Kalyan and down at Khubi Village. Night halt in school at Khubi Village. Up early in the morning, trek towards the water fall, this is 1 hr. trek to reach the water fall. Covered 650 ft. by rappelling down first two rock patches. Night halt on the rock slab. On Sunday we finished remaining 600 ft rappelling in three patches. After descending, it will took an hour trek to reach Thidabi village. Lunch halt at Thidabi between 1.00 to 2.00 pm at Shankar Sable's home. After lunch break, return journey started. Half an hour trek to reach Savarne villege.

where is 1200 ft rappel....? seems like hes just doing a traverse..1200 fts means about something abt 600 metres.....
