Oh Happy Jump (Please NO Critique)

Hey hey hey! These are the videos from yesterday ma dearest friend Keziah (She's the blond in the purple hoodie) took of me. :) I think we did pretty well on the little jumps, but yeah, the bigger ones kinda sucked. BUT in our defence we've never jumped that high before and Sandy was all like "OH NO! I CAN'T JUMP THAT! LETS STOP! NO! WE'LL DELAY! THEN GO OVER! YES! BRILLIANT PLAN!" Then he did just that. x( Anyway, I stayed on and didn't hurt myself, and Sandy actually went over it all but two times and didn't knock it over once. So I'd have to say we were pretty successful! :D

On a not-necessarily-better-but-different-all-the-same note, My make up days of school are done and over! Now its summer! AND (drum roll...)
Its raining. Horrible, I know, right? And the first official day of summer is in two days! Thats Sandy's make-shift birthday! Hope its sunny! We're getting carrot cake! lol. ;)

OH! AND DON'T FORGET TO WATCH IN HD! :D

you look good, i watched your earlier videos, and the comparison is marvelous! =D

i know it says no critic, but really, watch some videos of english lessoners/jumpers and watch their hands, i notice your hands are very western, like at 00:24 there was no release so it pulled on his mouth, of course you didn't mean to or want to but that's just what happens when you don't have a release... but of course this video is relatively old so idk how accurate/helpful this advice will be to you now.

And I understand that its simply advice, but I don't need it, thank you. If it says no critique, I mean DO NOT CRITIQUE ME. I have a trainer, for starters, and this was nearly a year ago. Ta.

I agree with PerfectPenPal, I ground pole will make it easier for both of you! Great job though!!!!

A suggestion (although i think you're doing really well) - use a second pole on the ground underneath the jump. Horses have horrible depth perception, so it'll make sandy's job a heap easier! Keep up the amazing work!!!
