Fred Astaire, in his autobiography from the late 50's, credits the Arden and Ohman duo for their work on Broadway in the 20's in Gershwin musicals. They had two pianos in the orch pit. They also conducted the orchestra. Before they formed their own orchestra, they also recorded reproducing piano rolls, which i collect.
