I've lived in Rapid, and there are a lot of wanna be gang bangers, but I wouldn't say native pride is dead. There are alot of Lakota that still have a connection with our traditional ceremonies. There are those that are making an effort to learn the Lakota language as well.

Anyone involved in this will be truly blessed. To see the look in the eyes of those sweet kids and give them a break from their struggles, is pretty powerful. How selfless to give of your time and remeber what it feels like to be a kid again! Great job!!!!

Sorry you're having a hard time with what you saw in our video. Sure, there were a couple of whites involved, but we are from Rapid City... some of us raised on cheyenne river, others Rosebud. Some of us live in Lakota Homes. Some of us do have Native Pride. Thanks for taking the time to write. I hope someday you can accept what we're doing. Pilamaya.
