New wonderful Album from Nacho Sotomayor !!!
The song refers to the poem "Axion Esti" written by the Greek Nobelist Odysseas Elytis.

Enjoy this voyage with me!

  • Nothing to do with indian music, Here nacho plays a version of a greek ancient instrument EPIGONION Epigonion belongs to the psaltery family and it is the instrument with the largest number of strings, sometimes as many as forty (Polydeuces). It may owe its name to the fact that it was played 'on the knee' - Greek 'epi gonu', or maybe because its inventor was someone named Epigonus.

  • "Axion Estin os alithos makarizein se tin Theotokon..." is a byzantine hymn of the Greek Orthodox Church. Thus, it has nothing to do with the poen "Axion Esti" by Odysseas Elytis (neither with Indian Folk music, of course).
